Description and Rules
- this is a distance measured event
- record the number of participants correctly as we average the distance
- participant places butt of post in palms and either runs or steps up to the starting line and launches the tabor forward
- runup cannot be more than 6 feet
- participant cannot step over line, if this occurs, there will be a rethrow
- after all members of the patrol have thrown the tabor total up the distances and write the total in the space provided
- make sure there is no one behind the thrower as the tabor could fall backwards
- measure from the starting line to the back of the post
