Event Area 1 - One Armed Bandit

Equipment stopwatch or watch with second hand (optional) two One Armed Bandits (already set up) 1 large rain barrel to hold water 1 small bucket attached to each Bandit weights to counter the weight of the bucket small yogurt cups

Description and Rules make sure to punch/sign the patrol’s event card; please record the number of people in the patrol next to their event card number in the binder the event area should already be set up as follows: Two One Armed Bandits should be staked to the ground equidistant from a starting line. One bucket should be attached to one arm of each Bandit. Weights may be attached to the opposite arm to counter the weight of the bucket. There should be a rain barrel close to the start line. the object of the game is to be the first team to fill their bucket with water and have the bucket arm swing down to the ground patrol members will begin at the start line, fill their yogurt cups with water from the rain barrel and empty them into the bucket attached to the One Armed Bandit if an event leader needs to refill the rain barrel with water, there is a water hose attached to the fence
